Esdec and Chapter join forces
Esdec and Chapter are committed to optimizing the level of knowledge in the solar industry.
Both parties endorse the importance of having as many expert installers in the market as possible to continue building a sustainable future. The collaboration has resulted in an integrated training offering that is hybridly unlocked through Chapter's training platform and the online portal MyEsdec launched today.
Based on Esdec's ambition to best facilitate solar professionals, the company invests heavily in product training, webinars and e-learnings. With just one account, MyEsdec users have access to this training offering. Joining forces with Chapter, a renowned
training platform for sustainable installers, means in practice that Esdec's products are the starting point in a number of professional e-learnings. Conversely, Esdec's existing product training courses are now also included in the Chapter platform.
Unlocking hybrid training courses
“As part of Enstall, Esdec is proud to join Chapter in this way to expand the pool of certified solar installers,” says Gittan Heijkoop, Marketing Director Europe. “It makes it a little easier for them to meet the requirements of InstallQ certification, the new standard that every installer needs to be certified to operate. MyEsdec is the perfect environment to unlock these hybrid training courses. Here we are looking beyond the Netherlands, because behind the scenes we are working hard to roll out this program in Europe. All from the conviction that well-trained installers contribute to an optimal PV installation.”
Positive contribution to quality and safety
Rutger Laman Trip, Operational Director Chapter, endorses that conviction. “Moreover, we believe that manufacturers in the sector have an important responsibility to improve capacity, quality and safety in the market in order to accelerate the energy transition. It is very cool that
Enstall is taking a leading role in this and wants to serve the installer with this at scale. We ourselves at Chapter are focused on larger companies (from about 10-20 employees) such as New Energy Systems and Zonnemarkt. This cooperation now also makes it possible for individual installers and smaller
companies to purchase the platform through Enstall. With this, we are now also making a positive contribution to quality and safety for this part of the market.”
